The purpose of this qualification is to develop knowledge, understanding and skills to enable a person to uphold British values. This includes developing an understanding of the effects of extremism, radicalisation and terrorism. The aims of the qualification are to promote equality, diversity and social inclusion in society and the workplace in order to support the Government’s agenda on tackling radicalisation and extremism.
